Heavy Bolter Fidelis

Weapon 路 Ranged burst

The Heavy Bolter Fidelis is Morvenn Vahl’s signature gun: an arc of projectiles, a chance of a miracle-driven fire-rate boost, and an evolution that adds missile salvos. She is not in the October demo, so this file is a launch-planning dossier.

Confirmed behaviour

The PlayStation.Blog reveal introduces Morvenn Vahl as a Paragon Warsuit commander whose Heavy Bolter Fidelis sprays an arc of projectiles. It has a chance to trigger a miracle that blesses Vahl and increases the weapon’s rate of fire. Her evolved form is Purgator Mirabilis, which adds the Paragon Missile Launcher and sporadic salvos of explosions.

Those are the only confirmed mechanics. Damage, miracle probability, missile cadence, passive requirement and unlock route are unpublished. The weapon’s identity is nevertheless clear: a wide, sustained spray with a burst window and a second layer of explosions.

  • Universe: Warhammer 40,000.
  • Confirmed wielder: Morvenn Vahl.
  • Confirmed mechanic: chance of a miracle and increased fire rate.
  • Confirmed evolution: Purgator Mirabilis with Paragon Missile Launcher.
  • Demo status: not playable in the October demo.

Purgator Mirabilis

The evolution is official, but the required passive is not. The reveal describes the missile salvos as an addition to the bolter spray, not a replacement. That suggests the evolved weapon keeps the original fire pattern and layers explosions on top, but the exact interaction has not been tested publicly.

At launch, check whether the miracle still affects the evolved weapon, whether the missiles scale with the same damage upgrades and whether the passive is a new item or one already used by another line. Do not assume a recipe from a different bolter weapon applies here.

Evidence level: weapon behaviour and the Purgator Mirabilis result are official. The required passive and exact evolution trigger are unannounced.

How to use it

Hold a lane. The Fidelis sprays an arc, so the best target is a packed front, not a single elite. Sweep the stream across the horde and use lateral movement to keep the arc on the thickest group. When the miracle triggers, spend the higher fire rate on the boss or the densest cluster rather than a handful of stragglers.

Vahl’s size may make tight corridors less forgiving. Keep a close-range answer and a clear route out of the pack. The Fidelis is a gun platform, not a crowd-control field; it needs the player to create the space it fires into.

  • Keep the densest group inside the spray arc.
  • Save the miracle window for a target that matters.
  • Test whether Purgator missiles inherit bolter upgrades.
  • Do not treat the evolution as a substitute for an escape tool.

Build and users

Morvenn Vahl is the confirmed user. The Vahl dossier covers the launch-planning questions, and the evolution finder tracks the official result while marking the passive as unknown.

Pre-launch note. Values and evolution triggers can change before 10 November 2026. Community pairings are labelled and should be verified in the launch build. See the update log for newer information.
