Two universes / One war
Official key art
No two survivors play the same.
The archive
Start with the thing that is stopping your run: a champion, a weapon pairing, a closed arena or the thing trying to eat you.

Named champions, confirmed kits, demo availability and the difference between a launch reveal and a playable survivor.

Every named weapon, its wielder, the reported companion and the evolution it unlocks — with confidence labels.

Aqshy, the Space Hulk, the Ork Stronghold and the Hobby Table — the arena changes the build, not just the backdrop.

Faction traits, telegraphed attacks and the elites that turn a clean run into a rescue mission.
Pick a war
Choose a universe before the run. Rosters, stages and progression stay on their own side of the divide, with a few cross-universe exceptions.

Universe 01 / grim and dark
Chainswords against Tyranids. Boltguns against Orks. A Space Hulk full of Death Guard. The 41st Millennium rewards crowd control first and heroics second.

Universe 02 / the mortal realms
Stormcast axes in the ash of Aqshy. Skaven bells, Khorne charges and a Hobby Table where several factions share one beautifully messy board.
Field orders
The first run is a reading exercise. Learn the arena, bank one clean evolution and leave the greedy plays for the second run.
Malum Caedo’s Chainsword and Neave’s Tempest Axes both work without a setup item. Learn movement before chasing a rare build.
Take the weapon and its companion, then feed both. A finished pairing beats four unfinished ideas in the late waves.
Sharp reversals walk you into the next line of enemies. Sweep around the pack and let your area attacks do the work.
Auroch took Warhammer Survivors to r/Games
Lead designer John and programmer Jay answered community questions about the game ahead of launch. The AMA is the most recent official developer communication on the calendar.
Keyword system turns off-kit weapons into followers
Every champion and weapon carries keywords. When a champion picks up a weapon their keywords do not allow, an ally who can wield it joins the squad. Followers attack, cannot take damage and cannot collect items.
October demo enters Steam Next Fest
Auroch highlighted the new demo roster, balancing changes and a cross-universe meta-progression tweak. The October build remains a short, curated slice of the full game.
Steam Deck Verified confirmed
Auroch announced that the full game is Steam Deck Verified, with built-in controls and display support.

The armory / tool 01
The demo’s clearest power spikes come from a weapon and its companion. Search every reported recipe, then check whether it is official, press-tested or still only a player report.
Tempest Axes + Sabaton → Whirlwind Axes
IGN evolved this pair in the October demo.
Boltgun + Dice Cube → Heavy Bolter
Auroch confirmed the result; the passive is a community report.
Frag Grenade + Bandolier → Ripper Pistol
One report says Bandolier must be maxed.
Field notes
No filler indexes. Each route starts from a real decision: a boss, a build, a rescue or a mechanic that just cost you a run.
Pick a safe opener, read the swarm, bank one evolution and stop dying to the first elite wave.
Six demo champions and seven weapons ranked for consistency, ease of use and evolution clarity.
What is actually known about the big fights, how to prepare, and where the telegraphs punish greed.
Why taking an off-kit weapon summons an ally, and how to build around followers instead of fighting the system.

Stage file / paint, plastic and poor decisions
05 / The hobby war
The Hobby Table turns paint pots, a cutting mat and a copy of The Imperial Infantryman’s Handbook into a stage. Multiple factions from one universe share the board, so balanced coverage matters more than a single-faction counter.
A field guide, not a rumour mill
Official facts, press hands-on and community reports are labelled separately. Missing values are marked “not announced” rather than guessed.
