Lyssa Revenya
Lyssa Revenya is the control pick in the October demo. Her Rope and Grapnel pulls danger out of formation, rescues a bad position and occasionally deletes a weak enemy outright. She is less about raw screen clear and more about making the screen behave.

Why play Lyssa
Lyssa is a member of the Saviours of Cinderfall, a thief and tomb-robber whose Rope and Grapnel fires hooks from random edges of the screen. The hooks restrain enemies, damage them, drag survivors away and often instantly kill weaker foes. Auroch confirmed her evolution, the Ghost of Rhea, in the October release post.
That kit gives her a role no other demo champion fills cleanly: she changes enemy positions. When a Rat Ogor is about to body-block the only exit, or a rescue ring is one enemy too thick, the hook is a reset. The damage is welcome; the space is the point.
- Confirmed starting weapon: Rope and Grapnel.
- Confirmed evolution: Ghost of Rhea.
- Reported companion: White Dwarf.
- Demo status: new playable champion in the October demo.
Ghost of Rhea and the White Dwarf question
The Ghost of Rhea is official. The October community table names White Dwarf as the required companion, while the developer post does not. That distinction matters: you can plan around a confirmed result while treating the passive as a lead to verify.
The reported trigger is the usual maxed weapon plus boss chest pattern. If the evolution does not appear, confirm the hook weapon is fully upgraded, that White Dwarf is actually held, and that you are opening the chest type described by the community report. None of those steps is officially guaranteed.
Evidence level: Ghost of Rhea is official. White Dwarf as the required passive is community-reported. Exact level and chest rules are unconfirmed.
Control pattern
Approach rescue objectives from the outside and hook the nearest cluster, not the survivor. The hook’s value is in opening a lane; pulling the target itself is rarely the answer. Once the lane opens, move through it before the next line closes.
During dense waves, use the hook to keep a dangerous elite out of the centre of your orbit. Lyssa still needs a second source of sustained area damage because the hook is not a constant clear. Pair her with a wide melee or area weapon and treat the hook as the emergency brake.
- Use hooks to open escape lanes, not to start a fight inside the pack.
- Keep moving after every hook; the reset buys seconds, not safety.
- Add a reliable area weapon before investing entirely in control.
Build direction
The Ghost Hook build prioritises Rope and Grapnel damage, cooldown and movement, then adds a second area source. White Dwarf is included as the reported evolution companion. If the launch recipe changes, the control pattern still works; only the evolution target moves.
Lyssa is an A-tier pick in our demo ranking because control is transferable. A player who learns to use the hook well will still have that skill when the full roster and balance arrive.
Matchups
Bloodcrushers are a clean hook target if the red telegraph is already aimed at your escape lane. Pulling one out of the charge line can save the run; trying to out-damage the charge is usually the wrong answer. Against Skaven, hook the Ratling Gunner or the Bell of Doom when they sit outside your normal reach.
The Ghost of Rhea evolution gives Lyssa a stronger area answer, but it does not turn her into a stand-and-fight champion. Keep the control-first mindset. The ghost is the reward for creating space, not a reason to stop creating it.
